Where will Nicky play, and will Thornhill stay in Left? We are replacing only three players? Just throwing this out.
It's hard for me to imagine Nicky at a corner position. Her speed and athletic ability are absurd. If in the outfield I can envision CF. Don't count her out at 2B. Her range there is stupid and she gets to balls that no one else can dream about getting to.
You never know how high school kids react to a new level but I predict we see her up the middle somewhere, CF or 2B.
Doyle can really hit. She is a quiet kid like Dawson. Both lead with actions more than words. Cunningham can pretty much play anywhere and be solid.
Griggs, Landry and Jaquish are proven and Quinn is really good when she is right. The catch against JMU was terrific.
Gonna be a fun year to see who steps up and gets it done.
Our pitching is the best in the country and while some on here like to bash Beth its good to point out she is the pitching coach!! One of the best anywhere.

Drama? As if no other sport has a few pot stirring, idiotic fans, right?
Compared to the JJ and Caldwell saga in basketball, the fire Les Miles drama in football, the fire PM saga for averaging 50 wins a year there is little to no drama in softball.
All this softball staff does is recruit well, win and go to the WCWS more often than they don't. I'd be so happy if every other LSU program could follow this pattern.

You may want to back track on your accusations of me and check the facts of the incident.
First, what would I gain by sending a current player, who I have little contact with, over to you to confront you about things you say? I donate to the program and am a TAF and Alumni Association member, and there is no way that I'll ever jeopardize my memberships in those groups. Nor would I ever do anything to do harm to my university by doing anything that senseless.
I was standing in the area visiting with friends and some of the parents when all of this was going on. I could hear and observe the situation as I was standing there. I know what was going on and I don't think it's appropriate to discuss details here. I just mentioned that something happened without mentioning names so you knew that I knew and that would hopefully keep you from making comments about that family for awhile.
My source about you dogging the staff and players was told to me by members of a top 10 nationally ranked coaching staff, one of whom is a member of the International Softball Federation Hall of Fame. They were there to watch the games as they do every year and are friends. I have no reason to believe they would tell me something that wasn't true. So we can agree to disagree.
I've tried really hard to not call you insulting names, but I do point out things that you say that could get you in hot water, but you continue to call me names. I gave you a chance at the WCWS to say something to me -- invited you to stop by the tailgate because there were many of us who had something to tell you and I stood next to you before I went to my seat at a couple of the games.
I honestly did want to confront you several times at the WCWS, but friends of mine stopped me because they felt that OKC was the wrong place to say anything to you. They felt that saying something to you in Baton Rouge would be better in case anything got out of hand. They didn't want you and me to embarrass the LSU softball community by having words at the WCWS.
Go ahead and insult me all you want - I take a screenshot of everything you post in case I need them in the future.
I'll stake my reputation in the softball world concerning your accusations of my actions after the final game.
