And you realize these two things can be separate and still happen right? JJ can simultaneously receive justice by being cleared, and come sit on the bench at LSU because we don't want to change from Lee who is doing a fine job.
Please read the comment I was responding to. Heartbreak said he doesn't want JJ coming back because he would be a distraction to the team. He should go play elsewhere.
Do you agree with him or do you now understand what I was saying?

If JJ came back you'd see him in packages. I can almost guarantee that. And, if used properly, I'd have no problem with it.

Doc Mett is gonna be great but the jury should still be out on him simply bc he has not proven a thing against an SEC team or even a good team.

My main concern is the police didn't find the naked pics of miles that jj has so he would be the starter when he came back. i think he slipped them to tbob.
If i thought jj wouldn't be a distraction then i could see letting him back and trying to find a role for him. Which i think is hard to find a roll for a qb that can't pass but i could live with him being on the team if he wasn't a distraction.

JJ got screwed. i never thought he was a great qb but that's not the issue. his life is being fricked by a lying criminal and an incompetent police department. very sad.

I agree they are a distraction. Although I did agree with his aunt up until she said JJ is more qualified than Lee...I don't even know what the frick that means. Nor do I buy the team boycott.

fricking exactly. LSU isn't a charity for JJ.
LSU and les have done enough for him.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. The coaches, the same ones that have LSU 3-0 right now, thought JJ was better, that's why he was the starter. If not for this, he would currently be the starter.
That is what I don't understand. If he is reinstated, he should have every right to compete for playing time, especially since he was the better option between the two the last three years.
I hope Lee continues having a great year and JJ doesn't see the field much because that means LSU is winning. But if he is the better option for winning, I hope he plays a lot. Some people can't get past playing favorites instead of wanting the best option.

I think Unglesby is really stretching....this tactic is rarely used and when it is, rarely granted.
The DA punted and decided to let a grand jury determine the charges, which works in JJ's favor IMO.

JJ and his inner family should have squashed what she said. The silence speaks volumes to me about how they really feel. Its going to be a distraction having him back. This team is rolling right now and we dont need stuff off the field like this to distract us. I hope JJ gets justice, I just think for all parties involved jj getting a fresh start for his sr year at another school is the best thing. They should rip lowery and the brpd apart though as there is nothing wrong with that but to bring Lee,Les or anything to do with LSU in this was wrong.

I agree with this statement 100% and I think JJ should sue the BRPD big time.
However, going forward, I have mixed feelings as far as JJ's future with the team.
I think Lee's success is coming in large part due to the fact, that he knows he is the man now, and hasn't had to worry constantly about whether he would be benched any time he makes a mistake.
No way in hell do I think JJ should walk right back in and be the starter. That would be doing the rest of the team a huge dis-service IMO.

les thought jj was better and though i dont believe jj was better lee clearly has the team going just fine right now. So even if jj was somehow marginally better than lee its pretty much gone by the distraction him and his aunt are causing. If he could come back accept a package and be a team player then fine but as of now doesn't look like he can do that.

I understand this isn't the case for all, but to pretend that some were not as giddy as a school girl when they heard Jefferson had been implicated in this because it meant they'd get their wish fulfilled is wrong. Those people, in my opinion, deserved to be continually called out...just as you would hopefully shout down some asshat cheering a player injury with the same end goal in mind.
This and I love the fact that those fans keep calling me a dick, bitch, moron, etc. for calling them out.

Look, until JJ says something, it's not on him. I have stupid family members that talk a big game and embarrass me too.
If he says it, then I agree with you about the distraction, but until then don't blame him for something he didn't do. The BRPD already seems to be doing that enough.

Good luck with that notion. You can't get blood out of a turnip.

Wonder if he was that fat arse POS weaving in and out of tailgate spots in the huge SUV with black windows getting a motorcycle escort all over last weekend?
Who TF do some of these POS people think they are?

family is a distraction and like i said the silence from JJ and the inner family to call out his aunt for being a retard speaks pretty loudly about how they feel.

why should jj get the chance to share snaps? its a waste of time to take live game reps away from mett for a qb that never belonged in the sec in the first place.
Sound recruiting tactic.

that the better player would get snaps over a team distraction?
