I was at each of these except for the bama game which I watched on closed circuit at the Prince Murat hotel.

I thought it was him (had the sound off), but wasn't sure when he came on. They showed the receivers names, but not the qb. Wasn't sure if he started under Arnsparger or Archer. I remember watching him on TV, but couldn't tell you the years!

I do remember he was damn good. What game was it where he had his teeth knocked out?

Both. Signed in '85 and was redshirted. Started and made All-SEC in 1986 as a RSFr under Arnsparger. Archer became in head coach in 1987 and Hodson was QB in 1987,1988 and 1989.

Hodson was always my favorite. Maybe because he was qb around the time I really got into LSU football. But he is tops, followed by Flynn and Davey. Mauck is next...and the others are just touch and go. Those four stand out the most, in my mind. I remember Tyler, but can't remember how good or consistent he was. Howard disappointed me, I do remember...

BTW, THANKS to the OP or making this Saturday get off to a great start!! Love the vids!
