I think Michigan state ran back a kickoff for a TD, then they kicked off to us and we ran it back for a TD .

Actually E Kennison ran the first I believe then they returned one, then the next KO we almost broke another! Yeah, it was fun being there remember a beautiful day but that cold wind up on the high bleachers. Didn't feel a thing by the end game!

In 1995, LSU going to the Indy Bowl would be the equivelent of Georgia going to the Gator Bowl this year. The #6 SEC team went to the Indy Bowl.

This was the last game my Dad saw the Tigers play before he died.

I was at that game. Started at LSU the next year. Gabe Northern was in that game I think.

Derek Mason
Mushin Muhammed
Tony Banks...
Those were three of the skill players. The best player on the MSU offense that no one remembers will be in the Hall of Fame one day...

I didn't go to this game but I was at the ND game in 97 and it was cold too. Drank a whole fifth of Crown by the third quarter and ran on the field before the game was officially over. I made it out to the 40 yard line before I realized it and out ran the police back to the north endzone. Good times.

The odd thing was that Weedeater dropped sponsorship shortly after that year. But it became known as the Weedeater Bowl a decade after other sponsors took up the cost.

I was at that one too. At least you weren't the guy with the LA Tech flag and royal blue Speedo running across the field. He got tackled pretty hard.

I remember that. He was running right at us with his arms out.
