Named player of the week in the Carolina League for 8/7 thru 8/13.

I know last week his batting average was below .250. Today, it is .381, so he has had a helluva a week. I know he had one game where he had 5 hits, 6 RBI, and 2 HR. That's one game...

Will he get moved up to AAA before the season is done?

Or just shut him down at some point and have him prepare to be in the League for next year

I wouldn’t expect him to skip both high A and AA. Even skipping one of them seems unlikely.

I doubt AAA. He may go to AA but there is only a month left in the seasons so he might just stay where he is.

He will get invited to spring training next season with the MLB club probably start in AA then move directly to MLB at some point in the season.

Camp invite next year. Starts next year at AA would be my guess.

AAA is for minor league lifers and MLBers rehabbing injuries.

The only thing we can be sure of now is that wherever he goes, he’ll have some spending money in his pocket.

The site I used was the FredNats MiLB page. They included his total minor league YTD stats (including his one day on the FCB Nats, where he went 4-4). He was hitting under .250 with those numbers included, at one point, as well, so it just depends on how you're counting.

That sounds like the Texas Ranger's Cory Seager numbers.
