This decade, we had double-digit wins ONCE before Miles got here.

Duh, Saban was responsible for that.

I'm not getting into a pissing contest with you. Miles said he was the only one allowed to call timeouts. If that is true, then I'm not suprised his players didn't want to call a timeout for fear of getting benched or something. The fact that Shepherd may have broken this rule, if Les is telling the truth, only shows that the team is undisciplined.

Now, what coaching prowess has Miles shown during the year that any top HS coach in the state couldn't match with these players?

His winning percentage is still better. As is his bowl record (since I'm sure you'll say Saban would have beaten the extra cream puff on the schedule... unless it was UAB or ULM)

The BCS SOS puts the LSU schedule at #13.

That's because you have no response. Jefferson has also called timeouts before during this season. You don't want to argue this point because you are wrong. BTW, please link where Miles has said that.

Breaking a collarbone, twisting an ankle, getting cramps several times throughout the game...

I don't care who you are or what your view is. During the third quarter, our offense was generating yards and points against the vaunted Bama D... then we lose our starting RB and QB for the 4th quarter and get 9 yards.

And what great teams did Bama beat this year?

he didn't build LSU and take over at a time when we had problems with talent (especially talented depth)

of course saban's record won't be better early when he inherited dinardo's mess

Jesus, I thought we were discussing coaching talent, not having a who's a bigger douche contest. And I did respond to your statement, but you're still not responding to mine. Maybe you should google it. It might work.

saban hadn't built our program to the level it realized in 2007, when we could suffer a QB injury and keep going

What the frick are you talking about? He didn't recruit the QB position well, and I'll leave it at that. He had 3 NFL qbs on the roster in 2000 when he took over. How come Dinardo could stock the QB position in 5 years, but Saban couldn't?

I never claimed Miles was a perfect coach, but to say he's never made one good call is completely asinine.
