That's the question of the year. Will we get Arkansas AJ or Iowa? Arkansas = SECCG. Iowa = Chicken Bowl.

We gonna get first year SEC starter...it will be rough and the tards will be calling for heads in week 3.

And what was the result? 4 losses. No way Jennings throws the ball 296 times next year.

Both years had defenses that were recovering. What does JJ with Crowton and Stud, have to do with our QBs with Cam?

good luck to him. Your last name does not guarantee you a starting spot anywhere.

Really an all around team win, defense, special team, and I have a hard time thinking we win without the play of Jordan Jefferson. I know it's hard to imagine but it's true.

he's the same style of quarterback

Im slow as shite, which would make me the same style of quarterback as mett. Sign me up Cam.

he's taller than Mett

So? Height is not a distinct advantage past 6'4. Theres been very few if any wildly successful qbs that were >6'7. Im not saying Rivers cant be good because his height, but its no indication of his ability

I don't doubt he at least has the same arm strength

Mcneese would be more likely than SLU. Southeasterns got a guy thats probably a better QB than Rivers. Hes deffinitly a better fit for their system (they run an Oregon HUNH type offense)

But im thinking somewhere in Cali or back home to Bama (not the saban one)

Unless this is his desire, I wouldn't put money on it. LSU has one two guys on the roster with any experience and he's got the most.

Bolden was strictly insurance for a QB short year in 2012. He was 3-4 at best on the depth chart last season. Hes not making that leap.

Wish he would stick around, i dont blame him though. He could still potentially see pt if jennings shits the bed or gets hurt and they dont want to throw harris to the wolves. But if not, then he would have wasted another year. So good luck young Rivers.

Considering the experience at QB for LSU next season, I wouldn't count anything out. Seriously.

Was this necessary? I dont know when the Kid has used his last name as a reason to start. He is all class and is graduating. I wish our fans wouldnt be such inbred idiots.

Probably week one. He'll get a few cupcakes that are as bad or worse defensively as Arkansas was last year, to grow on after that though.

We should know if he's going to be good or not by Oct 4th.

I hope he gets a chance to start somewhere. I want to see what he can do. Good luck to the young man.

LSU fans see/hear the word "read option" and freak out. Typical.

They shouldn't. The read option is really difficult to stop when it is run well. It makes the D have to constantly guess what is going to happen because you can pass off of it too (with an effective QB).

When I saw Fournette's highlight reel, I noticed a lot of read option style runs out of the shotgun (along with delay draws and other shotgun runs). He seems real comfortable running that.

Also, Auburn torched Bama doing it. So there's that...

He had offers from FSU,UCLA,ASU,Vandy & Stanford. He could very well land the QB1 position somewhere else.

Total list of QB transfers this offseason. I don't blame guys for bolting and not wanting to "stick it out" in some cases.
