Deshaun Watson and Kyler Murray are the guys with 4k and 1k years.

Both i think did it in 14 and 15 game seasons. JD trying to get it done with maybe 13.

#s are great but he didn’t have a heisman moment...I know it’s dumb but it is a thing that voters consider

I don’t disagree. The 3QBs with 3 losses that won had incredible upset wins to seal it for them. RG3 had his Heisman moment against Oklahoma, Johnny against Bama, and JD had his against…?
JD should win, but I don’t think it he will and this could very well factor into it

If Daniels does not win it, you can thank the retard Matt House. Daniels literally has to be perfect every game due to this moron's inability to come up with a decent scheme.

Daniels would have had plenty of "Heisman Moments" in the games LSU lost were it not for Matt House setting records in futility.

Kyler won the Heisman in 2018, while DeShaun came in 3rd... to Derek Henry and Christian McCaffrey.

Jayden Daniels - 408.2 YPG - 3.8 TD/G
Kyler Murray - 383.0 YPG - 3.9 TD/G - won Heisman
DeShaun Watson - 347.6 YPG - 3.1 TD/G - 3rd in Heisman

I actually checked and confirmed this (based on espns listed stats)

JD5 leads the nation in average YPC (8.1) for any running back with over 100 carries

The next closest person is Marshawn Loyd at USC at 7.4 YPC

I think the closest comp is Lamar Jackson's 2016 season. He even had three losses that year (four including the post-Heisman loss to LSU) but still won the Heisman because he could not be ignored. Here is Lamar (13 games) v Jayden (10 games):

Jayden - 2023 - 3,164 - 30 - 918 - 8
Lamar - 2016 - 3,543 - 30 - 1,571 - 21

Jayden - 408.2 ypg, 3.8 TD/g
Lamar - 393.4 ypg, 3.9 TD/g

If you extrapolate Jayden's numbers over the course of 13 games, you would get:

Jayden - 4,113 - 39 - 1,193 - 10 or 11 TDs rushing
