Rodon no-hitting the #1 team in runs scored. JS.

As an Astros fan, I'm pretty excited that we are most likely going to have a chance at grabbing Nola or Rodon next year.

Yeah, not trying to be a smartass. That's my point. Ten years from now will the UNC remember this as a team Fox lead to Omaha or a team that Fox took away the chance to win from by blowing out their ace pitcher. I agree with you.

Marlins will frick up and take a hitter out of HS, so you're guaranteed your pick of the two.

Nola's complete games are 105-114 pitches. I don't know if he's thrown more than 120 pitches in a game this year.

Yeah North Carolina is doing no favors for the winners bracket today. NC state a little above 10 pitches per inning average

Appel and Rodon would make a super top of the rotation. Astros would be legit in 2015.

So we went from talent in the crown between innings last night to dugout shots of Rodon. WTF espn producers???

I'm pretty sure he's gone 120 once or twice. Not positive, though.

Rodon picking his nose is so much more interesting.

How good is the nc state bullpen and second starter?

Oh, please, Lord.

Bullpen has been pretty good, second starter is nothing special.

Wolfpack bullpen is really good, by the numbers. They appear to have a dominant two-headed monster at closer.
The second starter is an average senior RHP (Ogburn) who pitches to contact. Numbers suggest he is a ground ball guy.

Rice did take them 17 innings. That was a pitching battle, for the most part though.
