What about players that the NCAA has deemed ineligible like Chambliss?

With SEC penalties I don't think anyone has to worry about post season ban. LSU is not going to mess w this mess. Money talks. LSU walks. End of story. Not sure why this issue needs any more discussion. The SEC has spoken LOUD and CLEAR. Legal is one thing. Financial fines are another.

However, you have to appreciate Lane Kiffin's pursuit of the best roster possible. There was also a lot of chatter about how this would impact the locker room and others on the roster w their perceived playing time being diminished by bringing in better players so late in the pre-season. That's the part that worried me. Totally unfair to current players on the roster. Cest La Vie. Geaux Tigers!

Yeah I dont blame the coaches for trying to put together the best roster they can, but I also wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze. Interested to see how it all shakes out.

That is probably one of the reasons Lane is involved in this.
