College football is a big $ business. LA is a poor, stupid state that chose tribalism

Texas is lapping LA in just about every quality of life, economic category so it makes sense that they would begin to stomp us in football.
Especially now that it's really run like the billion-dollar business it is. College football is no longer an amateur sport, but it's still managed at LSU by amateurs.
LSU's leaders are a joke. When faced with a business decision that would decide the future of the program they did what most banana republic backwoods countries do - go tribal.

LSU at one point made Chavis the highest paid dc. LSU made Aranda the highest paid dc.
LSU has never had the highest paid STAFF! The entire football staff is more than just he head coach and its two coordinators.

I don't think Jimbo is the greatest coach but combine his pro style offense with Aranda's D? They will clearly jump to No. 2 in the SECW and will be poised to rule once the midget retires or dies of misery.
