MLB pitchers would love to throw scuffed balls,it increases their movement on all pitches.

You came here seeking xpert advice and not one tard in this thread has any idea why a scuffed ball is thrown out. MLB pitchers would love to throw scuffed balls,it increases their movement on all pitches.
Or as a previous poster said, the NCAA doesn't favor offense so they're willingly giving the defensive team the advantage on this.

What are you confused about? You ever watch a pro game? Half the time they throw the ball around the horn and the pitcher has already gotten a new ball from the home plate umpire.
And I don't think I have ever once seen a ball carried over from one half inning to the next.

Very rarely =\= half the time.

I guess you aren't smart enough to read the rest of the post and understand that a ball is thrown out of play more often than not after it has been used for a full AB.

All I do is explain why he was confused, and you immediately jump to insulting my intelligence like some 3rd grade pussy who has a little-dick complex.

Pretty rational. And tough.

I'm glad you picked up on the irrationality of the statement. We could be friends.

What is the story with Louisville Pitcher I didnt see it. Cant a pitcher rub a ball as long as he is not rubbing it with something?

He was bent over on the side of the mound rubbing the ball into the dirt, over and over. 2nd base ump came running in, all pissed off, made him give up the ball and threw it off the field. HP ump tossed in a new one.

Not so sure about this.
I've seen a few MLB pitchers use the same ball as much as they can for a batter and I've seen pitchers get frustrated when one hits the dirt and the UMPIRE takes the ball from him. Even heard color analysts make comments about the pitcher being unhappy that the umpire took the ball away.
There's more to it than just the ball in the dirt when a ball gets swapped out.
Ive seen balls get grounded into the infield and after the put out the 1st baseman returns it to the pitcher and he throws it again.

That I only watch Tiger baseball in the post-season, or about the question in the OP?
If the former, I offered this because pretty much every post this week from a fan - and granted many have deserved it - who hasn't posted a baseball-themed thread all year gets the Bandwagon emoticon. If the latter, I give a frick.
Happy frickface?
