I figured Kendall would like LSU still since he was at the game Friday and sun. Rest of the polls were harder on us than we were.

We weren't the #6 team in the nation. We get a lot of street cred because of Nola doing work on Fridays. After that we're marginal at best more often then not.

IMO, the only thing that happened this weekend was us knowing we wouldn't be a top 8 team. Now we just host a regional(by winning the tourny) and go play in a super. Win Friday with Nola and pray for the best after that.

Soooo...
If the season ended today, we would still host (yay NC$$) but would get a pretty stout #2 seed (Miami?) and then prolly get ULaLa in the Super.
I won't rule out a trip to Omaha just yet, even though I think our national seed went away this weekend. How good does Foster's catch look now? basically saved a sweep!

If we don't finish strong (4-2 or better) last 2 series and a win in Hoover, being ULL's #2 is not unreasonable.

Much rather face ULL in a super regional...

Could happen but there are alot of options if we happen to be a 2. The state of Texas got shut out of hosting last year but they wont be this year.

TCU, OK. State, Rice could be options too.

Are you sure about that? Nola would factor more into a regional than super, as Nola would pitch winner's bracket game (assuming Poche wins #2 v #3 matchup). ULL would have to burn their #2 to get to the Finals. I would like our chances at that point.

Good points. Right now, my bet is LSU hosts and is paired with ULL or Rice.

I sure miss last year at this time when the only question was which national seed we would be.

Baranik is pitching better than Robichaux right now, so that's sort of a crapshoot for the Cajuns. IMO, their arms will let them down in Postseason.

I agree, but it would be very hard for Tony to deny his son a matchup against Nola.

He pitched his pride last year and it ended his season.
