We either hit it hard and forced them to make outstanding plays (e.g. English in CF) or put ZERO pressure on them with those infield pop flies. Infuriating. Many on the first pitch too.

There was 1 point yesterday that I felt we had some baby momentum. It was the 7th inning, had a guy on 2nd and 2 outs, batter was working the count. I thought to myself "if this guy can work a walk or get a base knock, they may change pitchers and then who knows what will happen." Then before the next pitch was even thrown, they put a graphic up that the dude was only at like 67 pitches or something. Then he gets the batter out and the rest is history.

This must be a rhetorical question

What does everyone think of Fosters play? With the exception of the missed catch yesterday, I think he earned himself some more playing time. I'd like to see him continue in the 2 hole and drop Laird down to 9.

Only twice this year have I been in 100% disagreeance with a coaching decision, and they each happened the last 2 days.

1) not pinch hitting for Laird with Moore in the 9th on Saturday
2) starting McCune on sunday

Neither may have cost us the game (or may have, who knows), but neither put us in the best position to win either.

Foster needs to start for the rest of the season. Stevenson should never play unless he's a defensive replacement.

McLovin
Rhymes
Breg
Katz
Ibarra
Jones
Ross
Foster
Laird

This should be the lineup

I hope Florida throws more righties so we can see a bigger sample size of Tyler Moore.

I'm also pretty impressed with the way Jacoby has been able to raise his batting avg pretty significantly after dropping under .200 a month or so ago.

It seems PG is very fair in their rankings. They don't penalize teams as heavily as other polls do.

We had one walk yesterday, and it wasn't even from Wynkoop.
He dealt strikes all day.
Many first pitch fastballs.
I wouldn't have much regrets about not working the count.

We connected with 5 first pitches yesterday.
One for a hit.
Three fly outs.
One fielders choice.

Had two 3-1 counts for a walk and a double play.
