I can live with that.

They looked like they were napping in the outfield.

I think the outfield situation on Sat and Sun had to do with what happened to Laird on Friday. I'm sure he got a good arse chewing for diving for that ball and allowing a run to score from first on Friday. They used it as a learning experience, but as any young player will do, he was a bit gunshy the rest of the weekend for fear of letting another ball get past him.

Yep! We gave them 2 of their 5 losses. They got beat at home in the Super by ULaLa after taking the first game.

I agree. You could see a little trepidation with Laird the rest of the weekend. However, Rhymes was no where close to backing up Laird when he dove for that ball. We've seen Laird make some amazing catches, but you can't just assume he's going to catch it. Just my .02.

i was aggrevated how we were swinging on alot of first pitches...I know people said we were hitting them hard and at people...yes....but we weren't working that pitchers count at all, and honestly i'd attribute that to the team feeling the "need" to win bc of losing sat nite

I hear ya bud. I thought we played well enough to win the first 2. Sunday not so much.

Saturday and Sunday really were the "perfect storm" that was necessary for Carolina to win the series, anything less than what happened and we win series and perception changes, hoping that we can use this motivation to even further right a ship that for the most part is already sailing properly

People saying we were hitting then hard also forgot about the dozen or so lollipop infield pop outs. That was probably the most frustrating part of the game for me.
