I'm sure it wasn't based on just saves, but overall performance. That said, his K/BB ratio is absolutely insane! It blows me away every time I think about it.

I think his average 3-2 record hurt him. Despite that, he had 14 saves, a sub 3 ERA and the outstanding K/BB ratio.

Is it really that inconceivable that Ott isn't the best reliever in the country? 3rd team AA is one hell of an honor, especially for a freshman who came in without a ton of fanfare. Hell of a job by Matty Ott and Louis Coleman this year.

2nd team: Kyle Bellamy 1.04 era 16 saves

I got to spend several minutes talking to Louis Coleman before the Friday Night game in Starkville this season - he is a class act and I am proud to have him representing LSU whether he makes the All-American team or not.
