My name is Alex Reine and cody is my 1st cousin and im here to tell you that grades wasnt the issue, but yes LSU did not work out and now he has his associates degree from Gracing and is classified as a junior and almost has his hours for senior status, that being said yes he is the starter at OU and he loves it there and i wish him the best of luck! lol i told him ill pull for OU base ball but i cant stand OU football hookem horns!!!

Reine missed out on winning a National Championship...at the school that he supposedly loved. It must have sucked to have been so close to a national championship. If only he could have made the 35 man roster. Sucks for him.

Mainieri, on the other hand, probably hasn't thought about Reine since. Guys like Reine are replaceable in every single recruiting class. And, LSU and Mainieri are in the best position to land those type of guys.

So, if you want to get down to it, Mainieri is the winner of the situation...and Reine the loser. Tough break, but that's the way it is.
