A lot of that success hinged on Wallace's ability to run. Honestly he reminds me a lot of former Arkansas QB Matt Jones. Arkansas, now, runs a completely different offense.

Exactly.

I hope not, but Ole Miss' QB sure was making it look easy...

Oh, and to OP: *receptions

It will be a lot like Ole miss but I think we will pull it out again.

Ole Miss' success passing is overblown IMO. They were still only 15/35 on the game

Ole Miss did have several very key dropped passes too, just saying...

Pretty much.

The funny thing is our TE Gragg has missed like 6 games and he is still our 2nd leading receiver him and hamilton are our passing game. Dennis Johnson had a good game in 2008 against you guys but your defense is better this year probably. Our passing game won't have much time to get a pass off anyways with our OL

He's also hurt along with TE Gragg.

We'll be fine.

He should end his season with 90 for 1350 or so easily. Great year.

Gragg has been injured. Big matchup problem if he plays. Lsu wins easy.

I'm puzzled by those who are asserting that Ole Miss's passing success was somehow predicated on their spread option run game. The run game didn't force Simon to blow several coverages, or make Micah Eugene misplay hitches/hitch and go's, or make our safeties take terrible angles on underneath routes, or cause Mills/Collins to get beat down the sidelines.

I concede the run game may have affected the way we rushed the QB or the way our LB's reacted to routes, but generally our secondary just sucked.

It was pathetic. I never want to see that again.

Considering how OM threw the ball, I'm a little concerned about this game.

Unless Arky does sides to come at us with a spread option attack, I think we'll be fine. Wilson has a little athleticism but he's not a true running threat. We need to attack him and knock the shite out of him. Given his history of getting his bell run I think we can throw off his game if we hit him.
