I think the Harris voters pull it out and put OSU in.

Unrelated, this is WHY the bcs WORKS! It's not about getting it right, it is about generating excitement and conversation.

That was sarcasm for our less fortunate viewers who are apparently clueless.

The BCS is a money maker, and controversy sells. This is the exact reason why it works. The whole determining a champion thing is just a veil for making money.

i'm gonna be a conspiracy theorist and say that they knew this would help Bama out, thus giving us the hardest game to play. they surely don't want LSU to win after what happened in 03'.

how else could you vote them as the #3 team?, Oregon is still way better....

based on current computer projections (OSU 2 in 4 of 6), OSU must now pass Bama in Harris poll by 5 points to be #2 overall.

I think that's doable. It's not like they need to make up all those votes and gain 30 more. IF the harris puts them at 2 they should be in as they'd have the lead in 2/3 of the formula

So if Bama ends up in, your contention would be the BCS doesn't work correct?

The computer polls aren't audited. ESPN probably had a few of them tweak their formulas.

This is what is boggling my mind as well. They throttled a team that the computers like to win a conference that they love, while Bama sat on their arse......

Best part is, we as LSU fans know for once that our team is in. We'll leave the sweating to Bama and OSU, and boy is there gonna be some sweating
