Exactly you make a strategy move and load the bases. Baseball 101 says that you take the current pitcher out and get your reliever in there. It baffles the shite out of me how stubborn CPM is with the same shite year to year. I mean for fricks sake the kid has seen Poche three times already.

For the record pitchers were on a 6IP/75 count this weekend. This is coming from the inside the booth.
Shows he should have been pulled before that happened.

How many teams have you coached? Yet alone, played past HS? Oh yeah, I forgot
Posted on 2/19/16 at 9:08 pm to More beer please
That just make it worse

What makes it worse is Newman striking out a lefty right after that happened.

Yeah Newman makes PM look like an idiot

Should have started Lange. FIFY
Now we are about to lose our opener at home against a Yankee school that's not even really good at basketball anymore.

Same as it has always been...I agree with the post...

Pitching management terrible as usual...kind of like stealing 3rd with no outs, and a left handed batter up...we could really use that run right now

one of these years, our HC's will actually learn how to effectively "coach".... we all know they can recruit and be likable, but when they get a little confused with all the Xs and Os

I agree 100%
Newman was ready, pull Poche

It's concerning that the coaches still don't seem willing to have a quick hook with him.
My gosh, there's some stupid friggers on here. CPM should not have pulled him. This is the time of year to get players out of their comfort zone. Put them under stress, and see if you can stretch him out. CPM does not tend to leave guys in too long come championship time.

Naw man CpM's major coaching flaw is poor timing when it comes to reliever pitchers!! He pulls guys to early or late he's nearly 60 years old and he isn't going to magically change.
