CoCo stopped by the 17th JDC District Attorney’s Office to make sure the parish is ready for the national championship game on Monday.

How do these hype videos keep getting better. This one might be the best by Will Stout.

Has Coco sounds exactly my great grandmother that passed away in 1995. I have not that accent in a long, long time. I think is is a result of being a fluent Cajun French speaker. I could listen to my MawMaw for hours.

She came in speaking Cajun French; it’s becoming lost, sadly. I loved hearing it all the time growing up as well. She is a spitfire, so you can see where Coach gets it from.

She does and she is very proud of it. Its the size of one of those large yard stencils

My great grandparents and grandparents speak cajun french. My great grandmother would be speaking english and then without realizing slip into cajun french we loved it. My grandparents still use it when they dont want us to know what they are talking about. My mom understands it and spoke it when she was younger but has lost of all of it since my great grandmother passed away. My mawmaw doesn't speak it in public. My grandmothers generation is when they were not allowed to speak it in schools. I know a few phrases because of my grandfather which my mom told me I am not allowed to say in public. They are from the marksville area of LA.

Indeed she does, along with a couple signs.

Drove by it a few times while visiting family for Christmas

Video is corny as hell but it looks like they had fun making it. Cool to see CoCo in it.

Yeah....it crossed my FB feed.

CoCo is fun, but you'd expect Lafourche Parish to not need much motivation.

I see the 58 ring on your profile. I have my fathers. Was just wondering if you are related to anyone who played on the team.

The guy striking the Heisman pose is the new Parish President, Archie Chaisson, III.
