Florida Tennessee Arkansas were all historically bad, For those who believe LSU is trending in the right direction pump the breaks. 2018 will be the biggest season in LSU history in some time. The program can swing 1 of 2 ways. O will be the man leading it and will have the talent to move this thing in the right direction especially if the O line stay together and the freakishly tall WR ground steps the frick up. Gut check time comes September 2nd against Miami.

Texas A&M, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Florida all fired their coaches. He was extremely fortunate.
The SEC will be drastically harder with the coaching changeups. Reality will set in.

I am a bit concerned that we only managed 9-3 in one our weakest schedules in over a decade. Only beating two teams with a winning record
Conference as a whole was historically bad

A&M, Tenn, Florida, Arky, and Ole Miss all played LSU with interims or HC's that ended up getting fired.
I can't remember a season where LSU played an easier overall schedule than that.
