“Put this on me” is another way of saying “I have no answers”

He is a great leader. When things go wrong he takes responsibility. When things go great he doesn’t take the credit but gives it to others.

We will hear this 4 more times this year....it’s getting old. We do put it on you, but also put it on you when it doesn’t get fixed!

Glad he gave out all those big raises including himself. The coaching has been awful.

Somewhere, someone said that even if the O experiment was successful on the field that the type of person O proved to be, mixed with the type of play we were going to make about "coordinators first," was going to be a HUGE problem down the line internally/politically. Yes, it would feel good to take the success, but it could fall apart quickly because it was a weak way to build on an individual who didn't seem like the type to manager personalities effectively.

Wish I knew who that person was.

Orgeron will bank 9 MILLION this year and receive over 42 million from LSU and could not give a shite. Imagine paying Saban and Dabo type of money based on one season.

The head coach contracts these days are designed for failure. No accountability for millions/year and they are set for life. Guaranteed money even if you are fired without cause, which rarely happens.

To have a legitimate championship program you never celebrate that you made it. You celebrate an achievement and go back to work. He won his championship and thinks he had arrived, that was only a beginning. I guess many in the team felt the sentiment, which is why guys like Chase left.

NO doubt - makes the Miles attitude after the Arkansas scam he pulled on Alleva to get a Powerball contract look like Saban

That’s what an employment contract is. If you can be fired without cause and not paid anything, you’re just an at-will employee.

Would you be happier with NO TITLE last year and all the guys who left early coming back? o is a victim of his own successes. Roster has too many holes. Due to the job he did last year.

Haven't heard much about the binder this year.

Did someone lose it?

I would rather a program that is solid year after year. Of course a championship can't be won every year, but going from what the team was last year to what it is this year is a failure. You can ride the wave of last year as long as you want. How long will that justify scratching for a bowl bid?
