Coach O added, "And if Myles doesn't play well, we have someone to replace him." Coach O implies Myles may not be ready for Aub. Interesting

This was known last week. He said "we'll wait and see about the Bama game."

Honestly, Finley can handle Auburn. The question is can the defense handle Auburn. Let Myles heal for the Alabama game.

The team just seemed to respond better to TJ.

More energy in the interactions on the sideline... more camaraderie. Just had a different feel.

And yes- whoever said the kid has a cannon was right. Ball jumps out of his hand!

I’m on the TJ train!!

Finley did great for a first start, but it’ll be different when teams have film in him. He’s going to have to do more than the underneath stuff of Saturday.

I think Myles playing again weighed heavily on how well Finley played.

Finley played alot better than expected so that will hopefully give Myles more time to heal.

And when Myles comes back he better play well or they'll make the switch.

That's how I understand it.

I’d bet it goes to a competition again and who ever plays better gets the start of Myles isn’t healthy.

Folks said the same thing after Marcus Randall's first start against USCe in 2002. He had mixed results after his first game.

yah think? he has a torn ab. the muscle is shredded. that will take months to heal. this is Finley's year, Coach O is just showing respect to Brennan by still calling him the starter

Coach O said Myles would have played if needed. Brennan must be one tough SOB!

This is a great situation. Myles is gonna feel a little added pressure of competition from behind now. He'll probably be better for it. Bama week will be weird.

Can we just stop already with all this QBs controversy. Please just start Finley please. I mean this kid is the greatest qb I have ever seen I mean come on he is the best ever. Did y’all see the arm on him I mean wow he has a cannon. I bet he can throw a football a 100 yards on one knee. I mean enough already just start him he is so special.

Im a huge Myles fan but honestly, if we start Finley for the Bama game, I’d be very happy.

I want whoever gives us the best chance to win the game... so, against Bama... probably neither
