I defend him because of what him and Emmerrit did... It set LSU up for a strong future which is what Miles was brought in for and he did a great job.... A few seasons were not real good but overall up until the last 4 games of the 2015 season Miles was GREAT here...............

Im sorry you took it that way.
My point was we fired a very accomplished coach for the same win loss numbers o has. Being tired of losing 3 and 4 games a year doesnt make you an O hater. It makes you someone that hold coaches to the same standard.

Yeah everyone is greatful for what he did here but i dont think we defend what he does at bama.

Saban's numbers speak for themselves. What Mullen has done with lesser talent speaks for itself. The facts don't change because you like a coach or not. For the fans of a certain coach, they do apparently.

Saban put LSU on its current track and I'm grateful for that. The 1999 season was unbearable. Most painful season ever.

I agree with this... I have said since day one that O was NOT the right HC longterm......... But he has done things I thought he would not do,,, I did not think they would win 10 games last year... I said 6-6 for a number of reasons, but the biggest reason was I didn't think O was gonna pull off more than ten wins...
NOW we can look at the fact that we had very little experience coming back on offense, which IS true,,,, Arenda is a beast for the D.... Burrow came in and did a pretty good job for JUST joining the team with little time to get in to a routine with the inexperienced WR'S... But hey I never tought he would be a world beater anyway.........
All this has to do with what the 2018 team ended up.... I don not care about comparing stats from a former team... That's useless.............. We went 10-3 last year and as an LSU fan, I wnted better... Hopefully we can get MORE this upcoming season...............
I guess this sums up this whole thread.........................

A playoff spot and sec title will probably have to come together since we have to face the best team in the nation in our own division every year.

I was only responding to say I thought it would be even more lopsided if the "crushing it" had been changed to "good" or "very good." I don't care that you pointed out downvotes. If I thought that it helped support my position I would probably point it out as well.

Agreed. IMO he doesnt have nearly the edge the Bear had and he winning just as much.
