Orgeron was hired and acknowledged LSU's major struggles in previous years on offense. He vowed to his boss and the fan base to bring a modern and highly productive offense with the best OC in the country running it.

Fast forward to current day...... The offense got worse while being ran by Miles former TE coach and Orgeron's 4 and 3 loss seasons respectively mirror his predecessor's.

Yet.... Miles was justly fired and Orgeron is crushing it. It's baffling to say the least

It's baffling to acknowledge that the Canada debacle is a factor in all of this. What exactly did you expect to happen? It's baffling to you that after the bullshite with Canada that O went with somebody he could trust.

Sounds like you're easily confused.

Of course.
Its no longer unacceptable to have 3 or 4 losses, not be competitive against bama, and having a shite offense.

When a coach hasnt been close to winning any hardware and averages the 4th best recruiting class in the sec over 2 years he isnt crushing it. He is maintaining the win loss numbers that got the last coach fired.

Do his homework and notice that Canada's offense heavy on pre snap movement.

I hope you're feeling better today brother.

I'm starting to feel better. The last few weeks have been brutal. From blood clots to cellulitis has been hell.

Rick I honestly believe that Alleva forced Canada on O.

In a lot of programs, a young coach like Brady would get shoved aside by a 50-something OC. But in this case, Brady's depth of knowledge of the new offenses will probably be the difference-maker for the job security of many LSU coaches, and that includes E.

i think we'll see a total revamp of the LSU passing game. It will still be E's offense, but Brady will run the passing side of things. It could be a very good partnership.

I think Saban was half a step slower in 2018, and will be another half-step slower in '19. If LSU can get a few favorable bounces, '19 could be a hell of a season.

Based on this O quote, may be true.

quote:

“Circumstances were different when I got the job. I went out and tried to get the best coordinator in the league and the best possible for our football team. It didn’t work. All the while I was saying, ‘You know, Steve Ensminger is the guy that if I had the chance I would have hired.’

I believe Brady is the obvious choice at OC when E is done. I also believe that the future is bright moving forward.

Also. I believe that Alleva tried to undermine O with Canada.

I just hope they're open enough for change to truly utilize Brady's ideas and input.

The door is certainly wide open for him. But he still has to bring it on the field.

It will be a beautiful thing to see if E & Brady can get this O firing on all 8 cylinders

I don't know about that. Alleva is a snake in the grass though so anything is possible with him.

If O doesn't work out, Alleva better be gone too. They're hitched on the same wagon. And under absolutely no circumstances whatsoever should LSU allow him to hire the next HC.

I agree that Alleva shouldn't be involved in the next coaching search and he needs to go sooner rather than later but I also include FKing in that equation. His meddling in the coaching search in 2015 is why LSU was put in a bad situation to begin with. LSU ended up taking a step back because of it.

Agreed. I can't help but wonder what the program would look like if Jimbo got the job in '15 before FK and governor got involved.

Well it looks like the positives have this one well in hand with a score of 614 to 139. This isn't a surprise I always knew that the negas were a vocal minority.

Here's your primary villain. Regardless of the shite Alleva gets, this is the overlord.

Why is he a villain in this context? Shouldn't he and Alleva be lauded for getting us Eaux?
