Watch what happens with O; I guarantee you that O is looking at this and saying "this ain't gonna be me." Yea he went soft and got cocky after last year and chased arse, but I think he is big time fired up to make damn sure that he's not a one hit wonder like Les Miles was with what was handed to him.

Les is the dumbest and luckiest fricker on the planet.

Neat. I hope so. Alabama, literally, could have put 100+ on us if they wanted. Weird year sure, but that was the worst LSU team I’ve seen in I’ve over twenty years.

We’ll see.

I agree on Les though.

Unfortunately I think we're back to "believe it when I see it" territory with Orgeron after another two failed hires in 2020.

Eta: Maybe "wait and see" is a better expression.

No you haven’t.

For sure better than 99 and they may have been favored on a neutral field vs 2014 or 2008 LSU

Yeah it was a shitty year and the Linehan and Bo hire were trash.

He needs to produce for sure but no chance in hell that was the worst LSU team in 20 years.

I get it but last year freaked O out. He's not going to live the Ole Miss nightmare again. The vibe from the players with the new coaches is 180 from last year. He'll dump all the girl friends if he has to. If he's smart just go buy it from the right produce stands.

I'm speaking more towards his ability to evaluate and hire assistants rather than his commitment to the team.

So since 2000 which one was worse?

I’d take them over 2008 LSU for sure. Whether it was the Andrew hatch or freshman Jarrett Lee freshman year led team.

That team at the end of the year would have curb stomped 2008 imho.

Edited to say what would 2008 record be with a 10 game all SEC schedule?

If the 2020 hadn’t had the rent-a-wins cancelled they’dve been 8-5 too. God that Andrew Hatch team was brutal & might’ve been worse then 2020. At least this team put up points
