Which one of you truly thought either of those guys were going to bring us a Natty? Be honest!! Kelly is as good as Nick was when he got here. So let’s see what happens.

I was waiting for someone to compare Brian Kelly to Nick Saban again. Thank you for that.

Les knew how to sustain maybe better than any coach in LSU history, but what did he sustain? 10 wins when we should have had more, right? Yes.
We all knew what we were getting with Orgeron. Certainly, 2019 was magical and will forever be, but what was the best part about Orgeron? His ability to win a natty at LSU but only win 10 games (3 SEC wins) in 3 seasons at Ole Miss.

Just stop man- we are where we are right now.
Kelly isnt even as good as Les- and Les had to deal with Saban

We know many of you think this, but it's not even close.
Les Miles was utterly dominated by Nick Saban, especially when he didn't have Nick Saban's players.
You're using a false narrative.

or O.
both won nattys in year 3 in their defense.
kelly blew a great shot last year
if he does not win it all next year the torches and pitchforks will be out in full force. nobody GAF about excuses or NIL or portal in year 4 when you are getting paid 10 million a year

When we hired Saban he was 34& 23 and highest ranking was 7th. Not suggesting that Kelly is Saban, but when we hired him, he had been more successful statistically than Nick. And in his first three years at LSU he had 3,4,5 losses. In his 3rd year he went 8-5 and lost to Texas 35-20 in the cotton bowl! What am I missing?!!

He did show improvement every year before falling off the cliff.
2017 - 9-4
2018 - 10-3
2019 - 15-0
2020 most of the champ team goes to the draft or opts out. COVID, OC and DC take new jobs, BLM and his divorce. Then the starting QB goes down a few games in. 5-5 SEC only COVID schedule
2021 - Brennan goes down again. New OC and DC again. The UF shoe game. 6-6 then losing the opt out bowl.
One thing is for sure. With O it was a long, strange trip.

Going into 1/9/12- Les was 3 and 2 against Saban.
2010/2011 you telling me that was still Saban players?
Now 1/9/12 they definitely broke us going foward but most games were tight. Could have won in 2012 also.
Not saying Les is a genius but lets not act like Kelly is Saban.
And I am not advocating for Kelly to be fired- he did well in the portal and I hope/pray he can lead us to a NC. Time wil ltell

the fact you only look at record and NOT actual performance eor coaching. same shite miles pumpers did for ages.
so you actually think KELLY is a better developer and X and O coach than saban ???

You idiot. The only thing he has in common with the goat is they are both dudes.

Neither one was championship material. Got lucky with players.
