Your up vote to down vote ratio should give you the temperature of the room.

Slamming a guy that’s giving his all to the program rarely works in your favor.

Yeah no one thinks Baker is the answer at C, but damn that’s no way to talk about a guy who helped win you a couple games and transferred here to take a chance on a program and coach that were in a worse situation in some ways than where he came from.

My thoughts are he is a Grad Student. Won't even be here next year....So your post is irrelevant

Baker played too soft and at times turnover prone, need a back to the basket/rebounding big to go with Reed/Ward/Chest/Fountain frontline

Don’t follow college basketball but always hearing here MM can’t recruit.

Looks like he’s improving there. He’s brought in 5 commits already this cycle with a top 10 overall transfer/recruiting class.

Granted there’s no C there. Could be a weak spot next year that keeps us out of the tournament again.

Lots of teams have made deep runs in tournament without a traditional center. You see it more and more in the NBA. That being said I would assume MM is still looking at the portal for one. But that is the one position that seems to have the least available bodies right now. Maybe the dude who just entered from KY might be a good one to go after but I'm sure he has a lot of teams inquiring.

Well, we have some guys that we haven’t seen yet, but maybe the answer is already here.

I don’t think collins is much of an offensive weapon, but what I have watched from him is that he is a capable rim protector.

We don’t really know what we are getting from chest or miller yet.

Reed has shown some offensive flashes, and could become an offensive weapon if his development continues. Sometimes his mental presence in game seems to lapse, and maybe if the game continues to slow down for him he’ll take off.
I think we have seen what we’ll get from fountain, but his experience and leadership could be valuable in ways we don’t see directly on the court.
