I'm halfway listening to the radio broadcast. Did Hannigriff say that Coach Cador is having an audience with the MLB commissioner?

He's meeting with MLB to discuss minority scholarships I believe..

Would he show to a meeting regarding the lack of scholarships to white kids in college basketball?

Um college basketball have A LOT of white players. Depends on which schools you watch. You do know there's a lot of Div 1 schools for college basketball.

Why would they invite a baseball coach to that?

Probably not, but Roger has been signing more "minorities" to play at SU (more white kids each year)

Easy answer...there would never be such a meeting. If I elaborate any further I will be called a racist as you are about to be.

Roger never discriminated. He always had at least one White,, Mexican, or Cuban player on his team. It's starting to be more frequent now.

Yeah because there's no lack of white college basketball players. Look at ROSTERS and you'll find out. Just because a lot don't start for MAJOR teams doesn't mean there's a lack of them. Look at the bench of most schools. I take it some don't watch much college basketball

I wasn't the one who suggested that meeting. I don't think it's an issue either. My comment was more directed at racial equality issues in general, not necessarily in college basketball.

I didn't know we needed various scholarships, I thought a baseball scholarship was good enough.

Part of the reason they're discussing minority scholarships is because, while the NCAA allows each school to give 11.7 scholarships, most HBCUs fund only a fraction of those. What they're trying to do is not to give HBCUs a leg up on other schools by letting them sponsor more scholarships, they're trying to find funding for the scholarships they're already allowed to offer, but can't for financial reasons.
