That will tighten that noose around O's neck so he never gets comfortable.
This needs to be done now before Alleva gets his hands on the new OC hiring process and takes that request in front of the Board.
If Alleva is not fired, then Board needs to turn down the new OC request and any new buyout money request. STICK it to O for his decision to hire Canada!!!!!
P.S. Yes this is a repost from Score Board!! So don't burn your panties over it!!!!

Alleva and O's fates are intertwined. Neither will survive the failure of the other.

It’s a problem, but O is also Alleva’s safety net. They should, but probably won’t, fire Alleva if O is better than .500 at LSU.

Which I personally have no problem with. I guess he likes basketball a lot more because that is the only good hire he's made. Still, I don't think the next guy will fail to do what we have to to keep Wade, and he'd never hire a guy like O.
And he'd NEVER give a guy like O a huge buyout.

There's rumor with legs right now that Alleva is the one blocking Orgeron from hiring his first choice (Ensminger) at OC and is the one making the push for a certain flashy, big name young coordinator.
