If Blockers makes a team he is guaranteed more than $300,00 per year to sit the bench... how much do you make a year? How much better of a life could you have had if you were given $300,000 a year for the first few years you were on your own?

Now Blockers will probably be picked in the first round or possibly top 10... I think I would take the chance at making $1,000,000 a year or more for a first career... set up himself and his family for life if he takes care of the money...

I still think Brockers goes higher. I would like for him to be with the Patriots and have a chance at winning. But, with the premium on DL in the league right now, I think with his size and power, and most of all potential, he could end up going before the Patriots have chance to get him.

Who thinks Ron Brooks gets drafted? If so what round do you think he goes in?

I'm a little shocked by him having Richardson at 16. He's been much higher in most of the mocks I've seen.

HB's in general are losing value in the eyes of NFL GM's. Good ones are a dime a dozen and the linemen who make the holes for them are much more valuable than the people running through them. Plus, HB's have 5 year careers now if they are lucky. I would not touch one in the first round. The days of 3 HB's going in the top 5 like in 05 are completely gone.

Just noticed all the Brockers talk, thought it was interesting the the National Football Post has him at #6 overall. It is still early and the combine will most likely bump him up. It would be nice to see multiple LSU players make it early in rd 1. Randle looks like a early rd 2 pick as well.
