Did anyone else feel Clyde stepped it up a notch this past weekend?

I thought Clyde looked more comfortable, had better vision and that jump cut will likely leave some Rebs shoeless Saturday night.

This was what I found most encouraging last weekend.

It's Edwards-Helaire. It's his full surname.

Curry had 2 nice runs to but holding penalties negated them. I can't wait until he breaks out.

Nothing against Brossette, as i like the kid, but he isn't the best back on this team.
Clyde and Curry will both be better than him. they might not be yet, but they will be, and they aren't that far away. The more carries they each get, the closer they will get to taking over for Brossette.

That being said, Brossette has been awesome blocking out of the backfield.

It was LA Tech...ffs I like the kid...but saying you saw something positive against an outmanned defense late in the game is not very comforting.

Barry Sanders is about the only one I've ever seen in college that did it better. It's lighting quick and he will get noticed more and more by the media as the season progresses.

Agree to disagree...I will find it comforting while you can continue to be a little bitch.

Deal?

Absolutely, seemed like the game had slowed down for him. Him seeming to be more comfortable led to him being more patient, good vision and cuts.

You need all the comforting your clown arse can gather

Says a guy that finds comfort in a rb finding a small bit of success against a POS opponent late in the game....which I might add, shows that our starters had to continue to play because of the terrible execution on all fronts after period 1

But sure, I'm happy we got a couple of firsts against a defense of a small overmatched school late in the game

He had better vision. He had been missing holes.

Agree with all plus a lot of yards after contact.

Pass protection is the biggest difference between Nick and the other backs. Once they close that gap you will see curry on the field more.

We’ll soon know (although likely not this weekend) if one of our biggest pre-season concerns and hopes (the running game) evolves into a true 2 headed monster!
Never understood why, in the Bama game 2 years ago, we only ran Guice 2 times! He averaged 4 yards per carry from those 2 runs and never got another chance.
Any chance of beating Georgia and/or Bama will require both CEH & Brossette be productive.
They should gash OM pretty good, but Florida will be a very hard fought game I’m afraid.
If Georgia and LSU both still undefeated, whatta scene that will be.
Maybe posted elsewhere but do we know if we’re guaranteed a night timeframe, or are the networks still waiting to see if they’ll be 2 undefeateds going at it!
