I'd have no problem with Les becoming the AD Alleva is garbage

Everybody loves les miles and the man, just not so much the hardheaded, offensive minded football coach. He may be sticking around to take Joe Allevas job

Les was here to show O where the five star recruits are.
Yes, and then he'll teach him strategies of how to underachieve. This will be followed the tricks to Miles' foolproof method of clock management.

People have no clue how difficult it is to be a head coach in the most difficult league year in and year out! Welcome home, Les!
Agreed... Les was in way over his head and milked every penny out of the deal. Didn't he get fired? Doesn't that just seem weird to be hanging out at the school that fired you? If he is so honorable, why doesn't he just forfeit the remainder of what LSU owes him? Maybe he could donate it back to the program or some worthy charity. I don't hate Les but it makes me sick the way some people still worship him as some sacred LSU legend. Why is he lurking around the campus? If I were CEO I wouldn't want him hanging around. I honestly wish he would get another coaching job somewhere just to observe him as the coach of another team. Would LSU still have to pay him if he took another coaching job? Go away Miles... your time at LSU is over. Move on!

Doubtful there are 500 billionaires in the US.

Are we actually disagreeing that the former HC at LSU doesnt have a net worth more than 95% of the U.S population?
Seriously?
Seriously?

Remarkable-Not one major violation, kids graduating, a terrific SEC W-L record, 2 National Championship appearances, Top 2-3 NFL Pipeline Schools, Top 10 recruiter, and no personal mishaps, not only with him but his entire family. Never saw the man sweat ever or lose his cool even at the end. Handled every negative situation, and there were plenty, with total class.
Good Luck on finding anyone that will ever achieve these same accomplishments at LSU in our lifetimes.
People have no idea what it takes to sit and that chair for that long.

Over his head for 12 years? SMH
Milked the money? or agreeing to a deal? Name someone that gave money back in coaching?
Weird hanging out and "lurking" around at the school?
Whats weird about that? Especially, if he was invited. Hes the former HC, Im sure he still has friends there and should be able to visit as he pleases. How many times has he been spotted on campus since his departure? Hanging out? Lurking around? yeah ok.
Hes no threat to the new coach. He's pure class and clearly understands the value of limiting distractions for the new coach.
Stay sick, you may be sicker than you believe.
Its not about worship, its about respect. Gain a little.

People who continue to shite on Les Miles reveal more about their individual lack of character than anything else.
The man was and is a great ambassadore for LSU. Furthermore he was a great coach for LSU. It was (past) time for him to go, but anyone with an ounce of common sense would realize he is a genuine good man and give him the respect he has earned.

This is nothing but pure-dee, straight up, non-refutable truth nuggets of infinite wisdom! Les should ALWAYS BE WELCOME ON CAMPUS. ANYTIME HE CHOOSES. Have some class, folks. He has it in spades!
Les ain't perfect, but he did a dang sight better than any of us would in that position. And we NEED Les Miles in some function (AD, recruiting, etc...) at LSU. Just not as a head coach any more. The man may infuriate me with his coaching in pressure situations, but he inspires me as a man WAAAAAAY more than that.
He would KILL it in Administration or recruiting!

That's fine but in the short term, he doesn't need to be close to the program. Just kind of awkward with players he recruited. 5 years from now? Sure, let him be more visible.
Put him in a player management type role if he still wants to be around the program. Just put a shock collar on him for anytime he gets too close to the offense's meeting room.

The dive toss worked, Les was average when it came to time management most of the flack came when we won with one second on the clock would you have rather lost and watched them put the three seconds back on the clock that was run off by the time keeper

I would love to see him staying close to the program in some way. Best Public Relations guy in LSU history and not a bad record either! Yes, he did need to go.
He's there to interview for the AD job....
