My question is this...
How many "negas" and fence sitters would give CLM his proper due if he won another NC here at LSU?

If he had won on 1/9....would most folks give him a pass for infrequent clock blunders and questionable game planning?

Yes.

I'd give him a lot more passes if 1/9 was even close...or if he actually had an offensive game plan going up against Bama and Saban again.

CLM had over a month to come up with "just do the same thing we did last time" game plan...and in the event that did not work, he had nothing else to try and made ZERO adjustments!!!

Try something different. Just trying something else would made a difference...even if it didn't work...but it's like the man just gave up.

He just stood there and did NOTHING!

What angers me more about 1/9 is we didn't even have to win. A 21-14 loss would have gotten us te AP title automatic. We would have been 1-1 against Bama. And we were the SEC champs. All we had to do was keep it decent and I would have drank the Miles kool aid. The only negative thing that could have happened was getting outclassed and beat down and that's what happened.

haters gotta hate.

the rant gives a place for haters to post their hate.

a haters soul is black and if les won the last 4 bscnc the haters of lsu would still be hating.

there is NO happiness for haters. they can defend their hating ways b/c of their base personalities.

hating is like a disease. they can do NOTHING about becoming positive.

I view the haters w/ compassion. haters gotta hate and they live in their own hell.
watching haters should not make us happier or more positive, watching should empower our compassion.

I told an LSU grad/friend, as we both expected Bama to get revenge on 1/9, that I prayed LSU and Les would get over just this once.

I said to him, that I wouldn't care if Saban & Bama won 4 of the next 6 BCS titles, if just LSU and Les could go perfect and beat Bama that BCS title game.

And still feel that way about the next 3 to 4 years.

LSU that year was college football's undefeated New England Patriots losing the Super Bowl. Due to freakishly lucky scheduling the Tigers played the winners of all four major bowls and crushed every one of them.

I really think, Miles could have shaken off a lot of his detractors and even won many over if the team would have just showed up on 1/9 prepared to play. The fact that the team came out so flat and uninspired combined with the fact that Miles made absolutley no adjustments to even try to win makes it hard to ever look at him in a positive light again.
this sums it up

Watch what happens if he bombs against AL then AtM. We end up in a 2nd rate bowl behind AL, AU, AtM and OM in the West.

How mad will you be if LSU wins several of these remaining games, and still ends up in a shitty bowl situation like we did in 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011 (yes, we got fricked) and 2012.

Funny how even if LSU wins despite playing the tougher schedule, the teams they beat get better bowl arrangements. The years I highlighted above this happened.

I guess that's Miles' fault too?

You people are so stupid. You deserve misery.

Well obviously if he went undefeated and had 2 national championships more fans would praise him. That is kind of silly to think other wise

You really and truly think the AP would have awarded a Tier 2 team a title for not winning the championship game?!?!

Really?!?!

You have a really over-inflated view of our team. You really do.

Know your place.

Fricking this.

Multitudes of non-competitive losers on here. All the mediocrity accepeting losers are a really unique and annoying bunch of little freaks. Most never played organized sports. Most have never stepped foot inside an LSU classroom. Most are satisfied that we're "Competing for Championships" like the "Low Standards of Excellence" guy that sits in the Athletic Directors throne.

Yall remind me of Stuart Smalley, the Al Franken character on the old Saturday Night Live. "That's OK" (Specifically the skit with Michael Jordan)

Meanwhile, at the conclusion of this season, 3 out of 4 will turn into 4 out of 5, but that's fine, acceptable and OK, huh guys?

I'm sure you are well versed with both "mediocrity" and losing.

The problem for you and those of your ilk is that LSU is winning more than at any other time in LSU history and at a rate that puts LSU in the Top 3 of college ball today.

I know that's hard for "LSU fans" like you to swallow, but tuff shite for you.

when you want to be the best, second or THIRD place is considered a loss.

why dont you people get it yet....

losers whine about being like the best.

winners worry about being the BEST, period.

No doubt.

He'd won over a lot of converts prior to the BCSNCG.
