What nonsense. No one will be 100%, hall of fame pro kickers have missed game winners before

He is not just superficial and wrong, he is personally insufferable.

Gotta give it to him. He's carved out a nice little niche playing the role of "conservative, 'I hate PC!' guy".

Some of it sure, but A lot of the “hate” was and continues to be responding to other comments.

I admit i thought we’d be 2-1 at this point, 3-0 and beating Auburn is awesome but there is no hardware in the trophy case yet and we will have to play better offensively to get some.

You can definitely see who the morons are based on the upvotes and downvotes ITT. Clay Travis' target audience is that of extreme right wing nutjobs who think Clay is a centrist (I lean to the right fwiw, but his takes on politics are worse than his takes on sports). Clay Travis made his name writing a book called Dixieland Delight. Previously, he was a broke writer for deadspin with a law degree he doesn't use (but LOVES to remind people he has). Dixieland Delight was a good read. Clay is a talented writer. However, Clay knows next to nothing about sports, and his opinions on politics are nothing more than to get clicks by saying the most outrageous things he can think of. His self-anointment of being a good betting handicapper is hilarious as well. His picks last year were AWFUL, like comically bad. Clay is trying to be what Paul Finebaum and Skip Bayless are, but in reality he's a hack. Those guys were actually very respected and successful journalists long before they became what they are today. Clay was not. And if I'm being honest, he's a huge dork, for lack of a better word. Before he got "famous," you would see him from time to time in the local bars, usually with one other guy, standing in the corner talking to no one.

We all trusted Tracy to make that kick though. It just seems like an overreaction to change say you were totally wrong/right about a coach based on the result of a FG attempt.

Point is the pleading of wait & see stuff is stupid: no one that hated O all offseason waited to see. Stop acting like some victim.

Imagine if we were 1-2. Could you imagine the told you so stuff??? This is tame compared to what that would be like

I can’t speak for Travis, but honestly, Tracy could have missed, and I saw what I needed from the staff as a whole to be satisfied they were giving these kids a far better chance to succeed.

Play calling, likely determined by the ability of the QB, which gives the staff confidence.

, and if we finish 9-3, are people jumping back off the bandwagon? It's a long season, you know that.

You’re right about that if we were 1-2 but disagree about being tame. For both the Miami and Auburn games there were countless threads calling out “haters”, hardly “tame”. but no matter what anyone says it was always going to be wait and see nothing has been proven yet except we won 1 game, Auburn, pretty much everyone thought we’d lose.

Are you suggesting the O detractors didn't have a decent sample size on which to be critical? That's the part that makes no sense to me.
