See you are showing how clueless you are again.

quote:

JL also took his share of sacks last year

He had 8 while playing in 10 games... pleae continue to show your ignorance.

quote:

By the way, how many games did JL finish with net positive rushing yards last season? The answer is zero.

How many games did JR have postivie rushing yards?
You do not have to be mobile to have success.

I really think you are most clueless poster on the rant

ITs not good enough for some of you that a SR leader of this football team has said that this isnt a one man race for qb playing time, as MANY of you on this board proclaim

Actually, Miles has already declared JJ the starter! C Black was just being diplomatic since it isn’t his place to declare who should start.

quote:

Some of you can not fuking stand it,,, you despise JL that much.

Some of you moonbats obviously have a man crush and a hard on for JL!

quote:

These qb topics or posts that I make have ZREO to do with who should or shouldnt be the starter.

Then why do you obsessively start thread after thread and then personally attack everyone and anyone who so much as says that JJ should be the starter as a JL basher?

As I continue to read the thread, I am constantly amazed by your ignorance. I can not believe someone can be as stupid as yourself.

I really indeed feel sorry for you and Doc. I am sorry neither of you can read considering I have stated JJ should start and deserves to start many times.

Obviously you two are helpless.

Among other things about JL, he had played only two years of organized fb before coming to LSU. I think considering that and the other things that contributed to LSU's season, he actually did pretty damn well!
I also think it speaks well of his talent potential and that he was not nearly ready to be thrown to the wolves last year.
But without a doubt, JJ deserves to and should be the unquestioned #1 qb. I just don't believe that JL deserves all the negativity he's getting.

Fundamentally, I agree with your post.

However, if JJ can be criticized for being too quick to run as a true freshman, which I have seen posted several times on this board, then I believe JL can be criticized for throwing double digit interceptions as a redshirt freshman.

No player should be immune to criticism, as long as it's not something personal.

JR was way more mobile than Lee is. He scrambled to throw though, which is why it probably doesn't show up in stats. JR was pretty mobile considering his size

Lee will never have a game that he leads the team in rushing

JR only had a few games his senior season with negative rushing yards -->Tulane, MSU, Fresno, and Arkansas. Against good defense, he always had a few good runs

He also got hit and defenders bounced off his massive body. Not an easy man to bring down when he outweighed LB/CB that hit him on blitzes.

What was that Ole Miss he just tossed the player off him as if he was a rag doll?

yea, he also did it against Tenn. and ND. His size definitely helped him stay on his feet.

The Ole Miss one was crazy though because the guy had a clear, unobstructed path at him and he just threw him off

Yeah and then JR just looked like he flicked his wrist and ball went 30-40 yards in air.

Dude was something else...

Also looked it up, JR had negative rushing in both 04 and 05. Then in 06 he had 142 yards or 2.7 yards per carry.

He did manage more attempts in 05 than in 06 (61 compared to 52) but he had 21 sacks in 05 and only 16 on 06.

this point has gotten twisted around in so many ways...the real story is he only started playing quarterback his freshman season in HS.

I have NO hard feelings toward JL. He was thrust into a very difficult situation - especially with the lack of defense. And he definitely showed he has the physical ability to make the plays. Seasoning is what he needs.

I hope upon hope he comes back by his senior year and leads the Tigers to an SEC championship and a big-time bowl win.

That story would be as sweet as Matt Flynn's.

Or we could just start Lee even though JJ is a MUCH better QB

BT would love to lose 5 games again this year. It's not like lee threw 3 picks a game. Oh wait he did

Listen you retard. JJ will be top QB in the SEC for the next 3 years. Why would we start lee. I'm done arguing with you when 98 percent of LSU fans know that JJ is our starter. It's over just get another obbession because u are going nowhere with this

The guy who started this thread (who I honestly have nothing against) is honestly asking for us to come in here and say JJ is better, then bash us for "bashing" Lee. But whatever. I'm not even going to argue about that.

The only thing I'll argue about is the quote where Les said both JJ and JL will start. Ok. He said that, but do you honestly believe everything that coaches tell the media? You don't think they're trying to fool their opponents or be diplomatic towards Lee? It could happen.
