I only said they are going to investigate the schools mentioned in the trial testimony and recorded conversations.
I wouldn’t be so sure of this.

I think we're being overly optimistic if we believe there won't be an NCAA investigation after all of the criminal trials are over.
I'm not referring to just LSU but also regarding all of the other schools that have been mentioned in the criminal trials' testimony and recorded phone calls.
I'll repost this:
The breadth of names, schools and current players could offer a vexing test for both university compliance offices and the NCAA’s enforcement division. The sheer number of potential cases and varying degrees of potential violations are vast. There’s also an overriding factor of the ongoing criminal investigations. A complicating facet to it will be the NCAA’s potential inability to view key documents related to this case, because those details not in the criminal complaints are sealed under protective order. In terms of eligibility, the NCAA and the institution may be prohibited from interviewing people associated with the case because of the parallel criminal cases. (The initial onus to decide is almost always on the school in an eligibility case.)
No one is certain how the NCAA enforcement office would potentially handle the cases. The NCAA has been in constant contact with the feds but so far has had minimal direct involvement with the case, as it has been careful to respect the boundaries of the criminal investigations. The likely scenario, according to Brown, would be for the schools to assess the credibility of what’s in the documents and the severity of the potential violations. “There’s potential for chaos, as it depends on the number of cases and the amount of information that’s released,” Brown said. “There could be inconsistency as a subset of chaos, as different schools may very validly assess the credibility of [the cases] differently.”

Seems to me LSU is intent on going hardline when it doesn't need to.

Dawkins taking a plea would be the best scenario for Wade.
pretty clear that he isn't even considering it

Give it some time. He is going to get convicted if he goes to trial! He already went down that road once and lost. As the trail date gets closer I'd be surprised if he didn't plea out this time. For all the hullabaloo that this has caused a plea deal will get him a slap on the wrist!

Wouldn't this be the best case scenario for all of the programs that could be implicated? Seems to me that Dawkins could see considerable donations to his commissary account if he goes down the road of not implicating a lot of folks.

He wasn’t even called as a witness by the prosecution, it was the defense.
that is because they have the tapes they don't need Wade to explain them because the prosecution wants to spin it in a way to help them not the defense! The defense is calling Wade to try and explain very incriminating phone calls because they have to try and change the narrative the prosecutions is counting on.

That count Miriam Segar will break into the court house and steal the evidence and hand it over to the NCAA.

I read some articles (don’t ask me for links because I can’t remember which ones)
on this whole FBI investigation even before CWW was involved,
At that point, the FBI had specifically asked the NCAA NOT to become involved in anything they were doing (maybe because they’d screw things up?). Apparently the FBI said they would make their findings available to the NCAA afterwards. This has been a 2 year investigation already.
The NCAA are probably losing their minds over this, because they don’t know what’s going to drop in their laps re CBB and CFB as a result.
IMO It seems like they’re trying to sneak in and find some things out now, ready to start dealing with the fallout. I could be wrong, but it’s all so convoluted and the paying fan public is completely in the dark, as far as I can tell.

Problem is if a plea deal is reached the rest of the evidence doesn’t come out and Will Wade is left as the only publicly outed “cheater”
We need the trial to be long and ugly so it all comes out leaving him as just one of the guys
I'm worried about this as well - everyone (outside LSU) already thinks WW cheated and that perception is going to be hard to change.
It feels weird to think that a mountain of evidence of wrong doing by others would make WW look a lot better nationally - but I'm hoping for anything that would help Wade at this point.

Please correct me if wrong, but WW has not been charged with anything. He has a subpoena to testify, period.

Wade will be reinstated on the 26th if nothing else comes out. If this administration don't screw it up
