When Jackson played was the most fun watching LSU play basketball ever. Shaq was there with him but Jackson was absolutely unconscious. They guy was freaking unstoppable from anywhere on the court. If he wanted to score there wasn’t anything anybody could do to stop him. He could score at will. Unbelievable !
Yet, he was stopped, which is why the lost in the 1st round of the SEC tournament in 1990, to a horrible Auburn team that was only 13-18 on the year. And then they lost in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament which was only a 9 seed... with one of the best college lineups ever. They were actually pretty lucky to get out the 1st round.
It was unbelievable bad basketball, comes up the court, runs no offense, does a in between the legs dribble and steps back for a 22 foot shot he could have gotten with 5 seconds on the shot clock. It probably helped them win a few games his freshman year but it was horrible basketball.

Jackson ... he was freaky good. Paranormal good. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing good.
