I live in North LA and attend 2 to 3 series a year + postseason and the thing that kills me is when the old timers who have had tickets since 1984 stare me down like I'm wearing a Bama shirt or something. The K Lady tried to escort me out of the stadium during Rice SR last year saying that I was in "Jane's" seat... I had to explain to her that I bought the tickets from "Jane"

Don't mess with the K-lady.
I made my first game this weekend and we were sitting along the 3rd base line a few rows off the field. There were quite a few kids sitting nears us that were having a blast. It looked like a few of them were there with their grandparents and were between 4-7 years old. I saw no ugly looks.

the only problems we have out here in the cheap seats are the nazi marshals (not in the new right field home run bleacher mind you, just down the rf line...).

dude, I had an old-timer and his 35-yr-old son try to fight a teenager who was with me at the LSU-Florida *football* game last year because the teenager wanted to stand and yell when FU had the ball on 3rd down! unbelievable.

Let's be honest. As a fan, if you stand up and cheer when there is a base hit or bad call that is fair. There is no need to stand up the whole game unless you are in the special sections that do that. I've been going to games for as long as I can remember. There generally is one jackass that if you get in his view he may say something like down in front. Don't sweat it though. I stand up on the last out or when we are gaining momentum back.
