After Joey 6

I have a guarded optimism about Joe. I hope he does well but we will see!

Glad we got him because I want to win and win soon.

But then there’s also the realization that the luck O had of a guy this good being on the market has probably prolonged he and Alleva’s tenure here.

Say what you want but this is a temporary fix. If I felt confident in our ability to actually develop our own QB then I’d think different.

O and Alleva are not the long term solutions and need to go.

1 before and 4 now.

Burrows may be a good QB but we still hired a known failure as an OC that hasnt called his own offense I probably 15 years. We still have no QB coach worth a damn, and there is a difference between Cameron coaching an offense with Mett vs Ensminger coaching an offense with Burrows.

Furthermore, everyone slobbering over this defense needs to pull in the reins. Much of it is very unproven and we have no proven pass rusher at this point. Our DB depth is thin at CB and our OL is an unknown.

Finally, this team won’t be lucky to face the shitty overall schedule O got to face last year. This year, MSU May be the 6th or 7th best team LSU faces instead of the 3rd.

Post Burrow: a very cautious 7

I’ll say it 100 times. There is no excuse to not go 10-2. O has everything he wanted. It’s time to produce.

The schedule is still brutal and we still have to play 3 of the top teams in the SEC, two of them away from home. It’s tough sledding even with everything in place.

That said, there are no more excuses. I give O all the credit he deserves for bringing in Burrow. That also means he deserves all the blame if this team doesn’t produce. This team SHOULD be the best we’ve seen since 2013.

so now we have a new QB who can play ball.

Do we?
How do you know?

This guy is unproven hype, and if he isn't the messiah this board is praying for, then we will turn on him like we do every other player/coach/athlete that doesn't live up to this collective fan bases' lofty goals, and tear him down.

I've never seen so much hype for a transfer that hasn't played a meaningful snap in 3 years.

What happens when O fricks this up? We all know it will happen

You think you know what will happen. FIFY Look I'm not an O fan, but let it all play out. I'm surely not going to be miserable and hope they lose. I've checked in and out of this board for quite some time. I don't post anything here, but it's damn near gotten unreadable. This place used to be at least interesting and amusing. It's just a bunch of idiots bashing each other constantly now.
