This does help obviously but LSU needs to figure out how to get some legit Olinemen

So basically, our offensive coaching staff was incompetent until we hired one guy who could teach Orgeron and staff modern football concepts.

Not necessarily, coach E showed last year that he is capable of putting an unfinished product of what this year can be on the field. I think it was a building block year on what this offense will truly be this year. I think he understood enough to win 10 games and a fiesta bowl Last season! But it takes a younger mind that has learned the game more recently that doesnt have that old school mentality to truly open the gates of what the spread is. The old schoolers will keep the toughness in place with Brady bringing the new school style in. I think it's the perfect fit, especially with the older guys being willing to change and not scoffing at the new concepts of today's football game and how the game is to be won. It's not all about winning the line of scrimmage anymore, it's about spacing, matchups and pre snap and post snap reads, which I think we have finally moved to.

You thought Teddy Bridgewater was a dual threat QB and that the Saints wound install plays specifically for JT Barrett

Easiest way to VASTLY improve O-Line play? Get rid of the ball!

This is what people were saying all last season but certain others seemed hell bent on blaming the players and not questioning scheme/playcalling. Weird

Why on earth are you doing this? We know you do not like Orgeron. We know, you know the LSU offense and Burrow are not very good. A few Nega tigers agree with you. Most of us do not.

You repeat the same things over and over.. why would anyone engage.

You've played and coached but you are adamant that a QB who rushed fro 170 yards in college was a dual threat.

Playing and coaching Pop Warner doesn't make you an expert.

So you mean to tell me that when the qb doesn't have the ball, sacks go down?

Who knew

So did Rivals in HS. He was the #6 Dual-Threat QB... but injury prone. Gary Phillips, writer for Sporting News The Athletic, and Jets Wire called him a Dual Threat in a Forbes article 6 months ago - but with concern for his injury.

That's a lie. I said for Hill AND the other QB's... mainly for Hill, and the others were afterthoughts.

And here's Bridgewater running for the Vikes. If they can get his knee right, he's a run THREAT in any league.

WE did a good job trying to fix the offense didn't WE? Coach Eaux, Slinger and LSU better appreciate US for making this much needed change. If WE didn't do this the program would be in BIG trouble.

So that's what you're going to latch onto? His use of "we"? Jesus your posting gets sadder by the day

How about:
"The passing game had suffered from 15 + years of abject neglect, and it appears that Orgeron and staff will have an elite passing game installed within the third full season with O as HC."

[This is not a video game. You don't just click on a button and instantly have a passing game. Three years, from ground-and-pound to a legit passing game, is a decent turnaround time]

Man, this number just keeps growing. I didn't realize 2013 was 15 years ago.

It does? I mean, maybe we will have an elite passing game. But what has made this so evident to you?

Well it wasn't the "incompetent offensive coaching staff" that is trying to improve the offense is it?

If they were incompetent could they make changes to try to be better? He used "we" for a purpose and it was not intended to congratulate the staff for doing what they thought was necessary to improve the team. It was an in-spite-of usage just like I posted.

The guy would never say that. That would be like giving the "incompetent coaching staff" credit for something. The guy is just too dumb to realize that his attempted insult cannot be viewed as anything but a positive towards the staff. "WE" didn't do anything to fix shite, the "incompetent coaching staff" did what they thought would help the team.

Why would anyone say LSU is going to have an "elite" passing game?

There's literally nothing to support it.

Um... this thread isn’t just a link to an LSU twitter graphic. Regardless of his sunshine pumping status, this is not a Ree thread.
