I for one was shocked at how well the OL played.

Oh and how nice is it to not see 8 man fronts anymore?

We will see if Charles really has a secret 6 game suspension this weekend that O is spreading out across the season.

O-line still played their butts off but let’s not forget that their best 2 DE’s where hurt. One of them hardly played at all and the other one was playing on a high ankle sprain.

Considering the opposition (and also their injury issues), I think this was one of the best pass protection performances by LSU in a long, long time. Probably have to go back to 2006 and 2007 to find a comparable performance.

Easily the best game the OL has played in the last two years

Who knew running against 5 man fronts worked so well. Plus with the linebackers so worried about the pass they were slow to fill in gaps. You could clearly see that on CEH's first td run. I'm with you I can't believe they dominated Florida's d-line that badly.

It is not said enough, but how huge is it that the LSU receivers actually CATCH the ball?

How many times in the past can you remember drives stalling because the ball was right there where it needed to be but the receivers were so focused on turning and running that they dropped the pass?

This receiver group is money.

But they had been hurt and they still have been throttling O Lines.

Did we even have a single drop Saturday? I don't remember one.

Man I hope not, but I still appreciate them picking the games.

I had the thought it was the best OL performance I've seen since '11, given the opponent and circumstances. Burrow looked totally comfortable, and when there was some heat he knew exactly where it was coming from and ran out the back door.

What do you all think about Joe kicking John Emery off the field? He had just made the run and on the next play it looked like JE did not pick up the play. Joe then had to run for his life. The announcers said by the end of the run Joe had picked up a convoy. Joe's had that look on his face after the play your father had when you messed up bad. He pointed his finger to JE and pointed to sidelines. Never saw him again, looks like John Emery is in the doghouse bad.

Chase kind of had one but the Florida defender was draped on his back. Other than that no because there were only 2 more incompletions. One was the deep ball early and the 2nd was a bad decision by Burrow that was thrown into coverage.

In a big game like that, you can't have a player back there you can't 100 percent trust to do the right thing. Can't afford mistakes which could kill drives or cause turnovers.

I agree to a certain extent. I still feel like they could have put him out there in position to utilize his talent, without asking him to pick up a blitz.

That's my quarterback.

He's the alpha dog. What if a RB didn't execute a play for Tom Brady and he had to run for his life? Brady would rip his head off on live television.

I am not sure that's what Joe was doing. Emery blocked. The announcers said it was a called QB screen. I just don't know.

I didn't see what Emery did wrong on that play. I just saw Joe running for his life. Luckily Joe has some wheels and was able to make a positive gain out of the play.

Was it supposed to be a screen and Emery failed to turn around and look for the ball? What did Emery do wrong? I missed it.
