Driving in solo Friday am from Richmond. Two and a half hour drive. Staying at Courtyard in Chapel Hill Friday and Saturday night. Haven't seen LSU Baseball in person in almost 25 years so this is a real treat for me. I am 1-0 in watching LSU play at UNC. I was at the football opener in 1985. We won 23-13. Ronnie Lewis hit a 54 yard field goal which was the record till Cade York hit the 57 yarder at Florida a few years ago. Hope lots of Tiger fans can score tickets for this weekend !

Has anyone been able to purchase tickets for the entire regional or just the Friday games?

I’ve only seen tickets available for the Friday game.

I wish.

I have been to Chapel Hill three times but never for a sporting event.

Sisterwitch got her Ph.D. from there. I used to have a 1982? commemorative tshirt when the Tarheels won it all in hoops.

Hope LSU destroys all in this regional.

UNC will sell tickets to the general public wed/thur. There are tickets in the ticket sites now. Assuming from UNC season ticket holders.

Be cool if the NC State regional games were are completely different times. Could maybe pop over there and catch a couple more games over the weekend.

Just bought my tickets on Seat Geek for Game 1, Game 4 and Game 6. Assuming we win Game 1 and 4 to get to 6. I figured it is much cheaper to buy game 4 & 6 now because prices will soar once they see LSU win.

For those looking for a good place to eat in Chapel Hill, Merritt's Grill is a really good sandwich spot.

Don't count on tickets being available for individual sessions on Thursday. Thats ONLY if they don't sell out tomorrow. Demand sounds pretty high. They don't get an SEC team at home very often. I spoke to the ticket office today. They advised just based on the amount of inquiries they have gotten that they may very well sell out completely tomorrow. The all session books go on sale at noon tomorrow at www.goheels.com. Then from the main menu click on the tickets link. There is already a link there to purchase all session tickets starting tomorrow

Also, don't be shy after the first inning or so to slip the gateworkers, $100 or whatever you have to do. Tell the person, usually older, that seems reasonable, you came from ________ and I'd like to just be able stand in the place (not looking to take anybody's seat).

I'm a season ticket holder who purchased all session tix before the regional was announced. My tickets hit my account just over an hour ago. Assuming that is true of others, as there are many on SeatGeek now. Cheapest are $9 for Game 1.

LSU vs Wofford SeatGeek

Hopefully tickets are availabe for all LSU/UNC games, and it's not a hard sellout, or they sell Gen. Admission standing room only

I hope so. I've been going for years and have never noticed a box score with an attendance figure over 4100 even when a sellout was announced, but maybe this weekend it will happen.

I know I'm locked in on those UNC vs. LSU matchups

There’s also a place called Sup Dogs on Franklin street. I’ve never been to the one at UNC, but spent a lot of my college years at the original location at ECU. Won Barstool’s Best Bar in America three times. They have good dogs, burgers, and drinks. Orange Crush is their main drink. It’s a Delmarva thing, which is popular in the beach towns (Ocean City/Dewey Beach). I knew the founder (RIP) and his brother has done a great job running the business.

Will probably be a fun atmosphere. Can see the LSU faithful putting down a lot Orange Crushes.

Sucks there's no berm we could just take over.

In their last regional they only topped 4100 (capacity w/o SRO) 1 time.. iand that was vs VCU (2.5 hrs away) in game 7.

From what I can tell they have SRO up to 5000. If we could get 1500-2000 in there for games 4/6 would be a huge advantage

One thing we can do is get friendly with the Wofford fans during game 1.

1... they probably don't like UNC.
2... they'd probably be willing to sell to LSU fans that treated them well (tailgate invites, etc.) their ticket books for games 4, 6 and 7.

I think each school gets 500. So could pay off if we are nice and respectful to the 3/4 seeds
