It doesn’t matter because if LSU does somehow beat Alabama odds are there would be a playoff rematch and we know how that goes.

Practically 0%. Almost never happens to Saban coached Bama teams.

I think we need to get to Tua early though. The DBs have come around lately to be the elite unit we expected, so I feel like they can cover man to man sometimes and allow us to bring pressure on the blitz. Make sure he’s not comfortable back there all night

I agree 100%. I don’t see how we survive with this inconsistent offense. What is the deal with our adversion to the red zone? It’s like there’s a force field on the 10 yard line.

We will be bamas biggest challenge so far. It will take our best day to beat them.

I agree but we have to bring pressure. We really haven’t brought many blitz packages this season so we’ll see what happens. Have to get to Tua, contain him, and rattle him so he isn’t on his game. Hopefully we can get to him and he won’t be too comfortable in the pocket to make the passes he usually does. We have to try it because if we don’t, then it will be a long night. Have to get him out of his comfort zone.

We really have nothing to lose. We’re already expected to not win so gotta do something. It’s worth a shot

So more players can get ejected?

May not be a bad time for rain.

Seems like year after year our defense does a decent job of containing Bama's offense regardless of how dominant they looked going into the game. I'm confident Aranda will have a plan to limit chunk plays and make them earn every yard.

Joe Burrow is the x factor this year that we didn't have last season. He can make the plays downfield that Etling couldn't when we had receivers running open in their secondary in Tuscaloosa.

Bama has played nobody this year,

This is exactly why they won't be flat

Exactly right. 2016 Alabama scored 10 points. It didn't matter because LSU scored 0. It will come down to our offense producing.

I was honestly thinking rain for this game could be a good thing for us. Bama won’t be able to throw the ball as much and they’ll have to run it more. Their offense will be more predictable. Now with rain, it’ll hurt our offense. We won’t be able to throw the ball either.

LSU will show up on defense but Alabama is going to score points.

Will LSU’s offense finish drives?

This is the only question. Yes, Alabama will score. Can LSU match them punch for punch?

Our offense has been completely shut down for large portions of numerous games this year (Florida, Mississippi State), and even against Georgia we resorted to kicking field goals on most trips inside the 25.

I doubt LSU can recover if we get down by double digits.

Won’t matter if they did but highly unlikely they will come out flat. In addition, $aban preaches playing for 60 minutes. They may start out flat (slim chance in hell) but they won’t be all game. LSU will have to earn this one.
