what would be considered a super fast 40, for an nfl d-back?
Super fast NFL DB's are all 4.4 and below. Average NFL DB I'd say is 4.5-4.55 range.
He has some ways to go, but he has already come so far I think he can do it.

I thought the Giants cut him a ways back. Can't fault them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

According to the Times-Pic, Jones ran a 4.57 at the combine. I saw a post about super-fast DB's etc, but the fact is that Jones was never "super fast," although he did have a good speed for his size. For him to run sub-5's at this stage is pretty impressive and it will be interesting to see if he can get back to the speed he had before the accident.

Inspirational. Contrast this with those sorry sacks of shite disrupting Wall Street today. Chad epitomizes what work ethic and determination can do. Best wishes for him.

that is flat out amazing.

No reason to believe he can't trim .3 off of that time by next spring the way he's working. Congrats CJ.

As much as I should hold a grudge against CJ for the jump pass block against my dogs in '09 (cost us the game), I cannot help but be excited that he is having a full recovery.
Congrats to him, certainly inspirational.

Glad to see Chad is doing better. Hope to see him play for the Giants one day

Dude is a beast. I couldn't run that if I had a rocket up my arse. he ran it with severe damage to one of his legs.
Incredible

Have the Tigers introduced him before a game yet? I'd love to see him come out for the coin toss against Florida Saturday if they haven't. That would get both the team and the fans supremely jacked!
