How is a one loss Bama team (loss at home too) ahead of the rest of the undefeated teams? If they win out I can see it but at this point in the season?? Makes no sense. Mulligan all over again.

Honestly...Saturday Night can't get here fast enough. We need to stomp a fricking mudhole in these guys in the worst possible way.

Sheeple. Do you not realize they did it to prop up the game? They realize 1 of them will lose. When Bama loses, it will drop them out. If LSU loses, a strong case can be made for us to stay in.

Yep. I think it was more strategic for the committee. Leave Alabama in there and should they beat LSU; then they can add ND or Baylor

So Alabama has a loss and is ahead of 8 undefeated teams.....So if LSU happens to lose to this great team and their only loss is to Alabama, then they will most certainly be in the final 4 again next week, right?

If this scenario happens and LSU / Bama is another 9 - 6 nail biter then based on LSU having the toughest schedule in November we should get a mulligan like they did in 2011.

But we are going to win on Saturday so it won't matter

If LSU loses Saturday, you can bet your sweet arse they will not sniff the top 4 again unless Bama loses again

This was the game of the week with or without this asinine poll.

Yes.

Sorry...we're not BAMA. We lose, we're done unless a shite ton of undefeateds lose in front of us.

Thankfully, this will all be moot come Saturday Night after we beat their arse, but anyone that thinks we get the mulligan is high as frick.

Uh,they beat Bama at home!

Uh, yeah, and they then got skull fricked by Florida, soundly beaten by Memphis, and escaped Vanderbilt and Auburn....

Bama turned the ball over 5 times. On a neutral field right now, Bama would be at least a 10 point favorite over OM. Fact.

I have no problem at all with the rankings. About what I expected.

Maybe. Ole Miss was in the top 4 the Tuesday after they lost to us last year.

In the name of all that is holy and sacred, LSU must defeat Alabama on Saturday.

It's hilarious how serious you guys take this shite.

last year, out of their initial top 4

Miss State finished with 3 losses
Ole Miss finished with 4 losses
Auburn finished with 5 losses.....

the rant...where it ain't cool if you aren't knee-jerking

I'm sitting right here saying the same thing. Florida blew out Ole Miss, Bama lost by seven. Both Florida and Bama blew out UGA. Florida and Bama also had even wins against Tennessee and Florida's loss is a touchdown on the road to the #2 team in the country.

If anything, Florida should be over unbeaten teams, not Bama.

So Bama who is 4th lost to an Ole Miss team which Florida skull drug and Florida is 11th with only a loss to #2 LSU....Makes perfect sense, no bias at all....

And if you listened to this clown try and explain the reasoning when Reece Davis asked him about it, he was reaching big time to justify it
