How are the teams chosen to play in which site?

I have the ability to get tickets to the Peach for an obnoxiously cheap price and wondering what the likelihood of LSU playing in it

#1 picks where they want and then the other teams are assigned accordingly. Officially the second team also gets a preference but seeing as there are only two games once the #1 team picks first the #2 team really only has the one other place to play. LSU would likely pick the peach even though it's opponent in it very wall would be close to it should we finish #1. The Fiesta Bowl is damn expensive to travel to and attend compared to the Peach in Atlanta.

If LSU is the one seed they will play in Atlanta most probably.

Buy them cheap and then sell them for a profit if LSU isn't playing in Atlanta.

We wont know until the top seed has been selected.

"The seeding determines the semifinal bowl game assigned to each matchup; the No. 1 seed chooses its bowl game to prevent it from playing in a "road" environment."

The location is determined based off of what is most advantageous to the No. 1 overall seed.

That's usually which site is geographically closer, but if LSU was to be matched up with UGA or Clemson in Atlanta, the committee may view that as a home field advantage for the four seed so we could end up in Arizona in that case.

If LSU wins out, we're probably the one seed and would play in Atlanta since we would have already knocked UGA out of the CFP, and the UGA home-field advantage as a four seed is out of play. If we come up short one game, we're probably the four seed and would play Ohio State or Clemson, who would be the one seed and would play in Atlanta since it's geographically closer for those teams.

Either way, the Peach looks more probable than the Fiesta at this point.

Why do you constantly post false facts in threads? Are you really this immature? And then upvote yourself. Poor kid.

Let's say LSU wins out and Bama sneaks in at #4. If you were LSU, would you potentially choose the Fiesta bowl rather than the Peach?

Following you around? I answered the OP before you were in this thread. How is that following you around?

Then you tried to post false information, pretending like you know wtf you are talking about. And I now see you went back and corrected what you said. That's similar to how you made betting picks on the MSB and then would go in and edit your picks after the games, trying to pretend you weren't a total fricking moron.

Don't be mad I call you out on your BS. Just stop being dumb, and I wouldn't say anything.

When assigning teams to sites, the committee will place the top two seeds at the most advantageous sites, weighing criteria such as convenience of travel for its fans, home-crowd advantage or disadvantage and general familiarity with the host city and its stadium. Preference will go to the No. 1 seed.

You said the team gets to choose and my post pointed out that this was wrong. So yes, you answered the question but with the wrong answer.

Would rather face Clemson in PHX, than in ATL, which would be virtually a home game for Clemson.

If that cheap, no downside to buying. If LSU doesn’t end up there, profit for you.
