CFN clearly does not have the infinite wisdom and football IQ of the Rant ......

quote:

1. MARK STOOPS, KENTUCKY

2. ED ORGERON, LSU Considering he was on every preseason hot seat list, and no one thought much of anything about LSU coming into the season, he has done a magnificent job. He and defensive coordinator Dave Aranda have turned 2018 LSU into a killer, with wins over Auburn and Miami along the way.

3. NICK SABAN, ALABAMA

4. DAN MULLEN, FLORIDA

5. KIRBY SMART, GEORGIA

6. JIMBO FISHER, TEXAS A&M

7. MATT LUKE, OLE MISS

8. JOE MOORHEAD, MISSISSIPPI STATE

9. WILL MUSCHAMP, SOUTH CAROLINA

10. BARRY ODOM, MISSOURI

11. DEREK MASON, VANDERBILT

12. GUS MALZAHN, AUBURN

13. JEREMY PRUITT, TENNESSEE

14. CHAD MORRIS, ARKANSAS

really? is that why he won 9 games at Toledo? took over a MSU on sanctions and did well over time? had best defense in NFl with browns? Had good defenses with Miami?

I don’t know what their methodology for those rankings are, but that’s one of the dumbest articles I’ve ever seen.

Special Ed got extra points for shrewdly not challenging the obviously bad 3rd down spot near the end of the first half. It was some kind of Cajun/Ninja reverse psychology.
