Could be that A&M is just the writer's stand-in for "some unexpected letdown that results in a loss". A&M, MSU, Florida, whatever.

Bama does not have a bye before us. I wonder how much that little bastard Saban is going to milk that fact that we do and they don't?

CFN did not suggest that it is possible for us to lose to A&M. They predicted it will happen. They claim to expect us to beat those other teams, but lose to A&M. And you think that's supported by logical and rational analysis?
